Pretend to not be tired…

Feeling a little sluggish during prayer meeting before your Sunday Service? Put it off! You’re there to serve the kids, parents and most of all our King. You’re there to give your best, not half best, regardless of how you feel.

From the wise words of James Tregonning today at Team Time, “you be tired just don’t show it!”. No matter what you feel like, give it your best, God is waitng ready to give you everything you need. In your weakness He is strong.

NZ Music Month – Brook Fraser

May 14, 2009

NZ Music Month
Us Kiwis are so proud of our music that we’ve dedicated a whole month to it.  Allow me to introduce some of my faves to you…

Brooke Fraser

Brooke Fraser is an incredible talent who writes beyond her years and will surely have a long and stellar career. She has released two albums – What To Do With Daylight and her new release Albertine. (from Amplifier)

Even though Brooke has jumped the ditch (over to Australia) we still proudly call her our own.  She’s recently being writing some stuff with Hillsong and is currently writing her third almum.  One thing I really admire about Brooke is that she is able to reach into a secular market while writing the most incredible worship songs.  Not many Christian artists do both well.  You can follow her on her MySpace Page.
